Wild Walk 2

CASTLE HILL NATURE RESERVE – With Felicity from Archeodiscovery
Felicity was our expert guide in Archeology on our second Wild Walk which took us on a snowy stomp up from Bevendean Community Garden over the fields along the old Juggs road, crossing Falmer road, and up to Castle Hill Nature reserve.

We discovered Bronze Age barrows, Anglo Saxon cemeteries and medieval enclosures, handled real and replica artefacts, and had a go at some ancient crafts, and had lots of questions for Flic, a real archaeologist!

About Flic

Flick always loved history and spent most of her childhood in the sand pit! As soon as she could, she studied archaeology at university. That was 20 years ago and she’s been a professional archaeologist ever since.
